Other Notes to Help You Feel Comfortable:
Service Style:
Our Sunday morning service is what most folks call traditional. We read creeds from our tradition and often sing hymns. We put everything up on television monitors at the front of the church so you won't have to worry about not knowing what to do.

What to wear:
You don't need to worry too much about what to wear – we're a "come-as-you-are" church, and we believe God cares more about our hearts than our clothes. If it will make you feel more comfortable to know, most people wear business casual, but you'll see a few ties here and there and on most Sundays a good amount of people wearing jeans.

Wednesday's Activities for Children:
On Wednesday nights childcare is provided during the Bible study time and choir practice. Often, in the warmer months, the children go out to the church play ground. After a long day at school we like to give the kids some exercise! Wednesday Night Bible Study: This time varies in its format. Sometimes it is a lecture and sometimes it is a small group discussion with each group having leaders to help facilitate discussion. Currently, we are studying the book of James, "James, Faith That Works" by Andrew T. Le Peau and Phyllis J. Le Peau. |
