Grace Supported Missionaries
A note about the first two missionaries, the Fains and the Ohlins: These are “legacy” missionaries, supported for almost 40 years. They are with mission boards that are affiliates with the EPC, but not directly with “World Outreach” (the international mission branch of our denomination). In the early days of our denomination, we had no foreign missionary
program, so we partnered with existing mission boards. Generally, the Grace Missions Team focuses on supporting foreign missionaries connected with World Outreach, and thus have not chosen other worthy organizations to support, but we are retaining these two missionaries because of their history with us.

Grace Supported Missions Agencies
Throughout the year we also collect items for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. We have a packing party to fill shoe boxes with clothing, toys, toiletries and other items for children around the world. What goes into these small boxes is fun, and what comes out is eternal.

These local agencies are connections to our homeless neighbors. The deacon’s “community care project” contributes supplies to these organizations.
Deacons Fund Through our “alms box”, fund-raisers such as our annual “Birding Challenge” and other gifts, our Deacons Fund helps with emergencies and mercy ministries within our church and community.
Youth Activities: We support periodic activities of our youth outside the regular ministry of Sunday School. We support summer Bible Camp, special summer programs, events and outings to encourage our young people, and to create intergenerational bonding activities within our congregation and community.

We are also a Prayer Center for the Suffering Church: We are a special liaison in this area of North Carolina with “Open Doors” and other organizations praying for and addressing the needs of persecuted Christians around the world.
